Lip Blush & Permanent Lip Makeup in Banbury, Oxfordshire

Lettie Stoykova Banbury Permanent Makeup Lips w500

Perfectly defined lips without the daily effort. If you’re tired of lipstick bleeding, smudging, or spending time trying to get both lip lines perfectly even, permanent lip treatment gives you that effortless, polished finish from the moment you wake up.

This isn’t about bold, over-saturated colour. My approach is always a natural result – enhancing your lips’ shape, definition, and colour in a way that flatters your natural features and ages beautifully over time. The aim is lips that look healthier, more defined, and more youthful, without ever looking overdone.

Whether you want subtle colour correction, improved symmetry, or simply a soft flush of colour that lasts, every treatment is tailored specifically to your lip shape, skin tone, and natural undertones.

Every treatment includes:

A free consultation and patch test, a full aftercare kit, and a touch-up appointment 6 to 12 weeks after your first session.

Finding the Right Lip Treatment for You

Not Every Technique Suits Every Lip

Every client comes with different lips — different shape, pigmentation, skin tone, undertone and condition. What works beautifully on one person can look completely wrong on another, and part of my job is to be honest with you about that.

If you come in with a specific style in mind, I’ll always tell you honestly whether it suits your natural lips or not — and why. Darker or cooler lips, for example, often need colour neutralisation before any pigment is added, otherwise the final result won’t be true to the colour you wanted. Lips with very uneven pigmentation or strong natural colour need a different approach entirely.

This isn’t about limiting what’s possible — it’s about making sure your result actually looks good on you, not just on someone else’s photo you saved on Pinterest.

Full Lip Colour Tattoo

Full lip colour is best suited to clients who already love wearing bold, vibrant lip colours every day but are tired of constant reapplication. This technique delivers full, even pigment across the entire lip — giving you that vivid, polished finish without reaching for your lipstick every few hours. Because of the depth of colour involved, full lip colour is built up gradually to achieve maximum vibrancy and even coverage. This staged approach also allows us to assess how your skin holds the pigment and make adjustments along the way, so the final result is as true and long-lasting as possible. This is not a subtle treatment — and that’s exactly the point. If bold, defined lips are part of who you are, this gives you that look permanently.

Lip Liner Tattoo

Lip liner is ideal for clients who are happy with their natural lip colour and fullness but want more definition and shape. If your lips are naturally full and have good colour but the edges lack crispness or symmetry, a permanent lip liner gives you that clean, defined outline without adding colour to the body of the lip.

This treatment is also used to correct mild asymmetry — subtly balancing the lip line so both sides sit evenly, which can make a significant difference to how your lips frame your face.

It’s the most understated of the lip treatments, and for the right client, the most effective.

Lip Blush Banbury

Lip blush is my most popular and most recommended lip treatment – and the one I believe gives the most naturally beautiful, long-lasting result for the majority of clients.

It works by defining the lip line and blending soft colour inward toward the centre, creating a gradient flush effect that mimics the natural depth and dimension healthy lips have. The result looks like your lips, but better – more defined, more even, with a hint of colour that suits your skin tone perfectly.

Lip blush works across a wide range of skin tones and natural lip colours, from very light to very deep. For clients with darker or cooler-toned lips, I may recommend a neutralising treatment first to ensure the final colour reads true rather than being affected by the underlying pigmentation.

Unlike full lip colour, lip blush is never over-saturated. It’s designed to age gracefully – softening gently over time rather than fading unevenly or shifting colour. This is permanent makeup that looks good not just on day one, but years down the line.

Ombre Lips

Ombré lips is a technique that creates a gradient effect across the lip – deeper and more defined at the outer edges, softening and fading toward a lighter, more diffused centre. The result is a dimensional, modern lip look with natural depth and subtle contrast.

The technique is similar in approach to lip blush but with a slightly more defined gradient – making it ideal for clients who want a touch more drama and definition while still keeping the result soft and wearable every day.

Like all my lip treatments, ombré lips are never over-saturated. The colour is built carefully to suit your natural skin tone and lip pigmentation, so the gradient looks intentional and flattering rather than heavy or artificial.

As with all lip treatments, suitability is assessed during your consultation. Your natural lip tone and skin type both play a role in determining whether ombré lips will give you the result you’re looking for – and if a different technique would suit you better, I’ll always tell you honestly.

Your Treatment Day

When you come in, we’ll start by taking a before photo/video so we can both see the transformation clearly at the end. We should have already discussed your medical history, suitability, colour preferences, expected results, healing process, and potential complications during your consultation – so by the time you’re in the chair, everything is agreed, and you’re fully informed.

The first step is mapping your lip shape using a fine liner, creating a symmetrical outline that works with your natural lip structure and facial features. We’ll confirm the colour together before any pigment is applied – nothing happens until you’re completely happy with the shape and shade.

The treatment time varies depending on which technique you’ve chosen and how your skin responds. Once we’re finished, aftercare cream is applied to soothe and protect the area, and we’ll take an after photo/video to document your results.

What to Expect After Your Lip Treatment

Lips heal differently from eyebrows and eyeliner, so it’s worth knowing what to expect before you book.

Immediately after your treatment, the colour will appear much bolder and brighter than the finished result – this is completely normal. Over the first two to three days, the lips will feel very dry, and flaking will begin to form. You mustn’t pick, pull, or rub the flaking skin away at any stage – doing so pulls the pigment out with it and affects your final result.

Keep the area moisturised with the aftercare cream provided, applying a small amount regularly to keep the skin comfortable and support proper healing.

Once the flaking naturally comes away, the colour will appear to fade significantly. This can feel alarming, but it’s entirely expected. As your lips heal beneath the surface and the pigment settles into the skin, the colour gradually returns over the following three to four weeks.

After the first session, some patchiness is completely normal – this is exactly why a second appointment is required at six to twelve weeks. This touch-up evens everything out and perfects the result.
